We aim to alleviate the global residential crisis, significantly reduce building structure costs and its environmental impact, while still constructing individualized and beautiful buildings/homes.

Just like most other startups, we began as a small informal team that wanted to bring about change.

Some of us had worked together for decades on various international mega projects in both high-tech and construction industries, and had grown increasingly frustrated with the stark differences between these two. Even the most successful building construction projects were impacting too many process stakeholders, and our environment, negatively. At the same time it was also becoming increasingly difficult for people, the end-user of construction, to be housed with dignity.
Processes, productivity, quality, costs, benefits, progress: it just did not add up.

Starting with the aim of changing this complex problem, we worked out a matching strategy and developed a “one-stop-shop” for an industrialized construction and installation system. And as a result, World of SMART HOMES GmbH (WoSH) was founded in 2018, in Switzerland.

We have since held dozens of workshops worldwide and self funded a large team of experts to further develop the building system and business model. The combination of our new system and business model addresses the key risks of global building construction while at the same time making it possible to build individualized and beautiful designs that are both cheaper and better.

As a result, our clients can buy singular and individualised construction elements, turn-key buildings, singular production lines, and even complete factory-, and installation systems from us. Our clients thus range from individual homeowners, small builders and architects, to construction companies and large investors.

We are both prepared and excited to continue this journey.
